Dragonfly

“Darkened forces can not keep

From the bottom of the deep

Cry the dragonfly

To me spirit keep

Stand when you are alone

Face the world

Even when you feel you are on your own.

2020 was truly a though year for everyone. Isolation, fear, masks, frustration, the worry over relatives, etc, has taken its toll. And just when it seemed that life would go back to normal, we find the worst was yet to come.

2021 Is now five months in and the world is not returning to normal anytime soon. It was found that the last 12months had the highest depression and divorce rates of the century. Not to mentions the tremendous amount on health care staff suffering from PTSD from the first wave.

Life has found a new normal. But let’s be honest we all miss the less troubled times that was. And for generations to come we will be telling our kids about 2020.
